Lesley lives on the outskirts of the Coromandel Peninsula near Thames with her husband Grant and two greyhounds. 'Bryn' and 'Oscar'. They moved here on retirement and love the natural scenery on the doorstep which provides so many opportunities for paintings. Lesley has painted on and off since her school days and is largely self taught. She has lived in New Zealand since 1971, including ten years in the Waitakeres which also provided inspiration for a number of paintings. A love of travelling has prompted paintings depicting scenery from The Kimberley in Western Australia, Botswana, Eastern Canada, Norway, England, the Faroe Islands and Scotland. She is sure to be creating many more future paintings of our own Coromandel landscapes.
